Using coordonates to draw dots on a map

Postby peewee on Tue Jan 31, 2006 12:03 pm

I have a visitors tracking script for my personal website. I wanna draw some dots on a world map, but I don;t know how to use the coordonates for this. Do you think you can share the way you draw those dots on the world map for geostats?

Thank you.

I used a google map. See http://www.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/ for information.

In particular I used the hello world example at the top and the XML example http://www.google.com/apis/maps/documen ... ronous_RPC

In short you export your longs and lats to a XML file which google maps
reads. You can change the icons to whatever you like. see http://www.google.com/apis/maps/documen ... ting_Icons

Hope this helps.
