ColdFusion

Any thoughts or experience using a version of your html api with coldfusion? Specifically, I am looking to find a low cost (read free) way of loading the users state into a coldfusion variable.

I work in a college admission office, and need to display specific information to prospective students based on their state. I could (and will if necessary) have them select their state from a pulldown, but I thought it would be slick if I could have it "know" their state (based on IP address) and display the proper information for that state.

ColdFusion is an application server and software language used for Internet application development such as for dynamically-generated web sites. And I never yet experience using a version of my html api with coldfusion.
