I have downloaded the hostip_current.sql.gz available on hostip.info.Now wat all steps are required in order to populate the database.

It's a MySQL dump. To load the database (restore) from the command line, try something like:
Code: Select all
mysql dbname < filepath_filename.sql
where dbname is the name of the database you've created with mysqladmin, and filepath_filename.sql is the name of the gunzip'd sql file (e.g., hostip_current.sql).

I tried the command tht u had mentioned but I m getting an error...wat do i do?????
