I'm trying to track someone down who uses a Yahoo email account.

I'm not sure if I'm doing this right but here is the IP I think:

72.85.147.130

Thanks.

If someone could give me some tips on tracking a Yahoo account I would appreciate it.

Thanks again!

That's great thanks! Is there a way to find the address or point of origin of an original Yahoo email?

Realistically, no. Even if you request the intervention of the ISP and law enforcement, privacy laws and/or policy prevents them from disclosing this information to you. In addition, there may be technical limitations (e.g., availability and level of detail of logs; possibility of forged email headers; anonymizing proxy servers).
