two diff HOTMAIL accounts...SAME IP...SAME user???

...I am just learning some things about IP addresses, but have a question about focusing in one one in particular. I am very green when it comes to this, so I apologize!

I had two different e-mails from supposedly two different hotmail accounts that were sent to me. However, after one of the people harassed me, I looked into the details and noticed that both IP addresses were the SAME (though supposedly from different accounts). Does this mean the SAME person/computer sent both of those e-mails??

Thanks for your feedback!

No, everyone has the same IP address for hotmail, you are just getting the IP of hotmail's server.

yeah, and if you see two of them the same it means one of the following
both came from the same computer
both came from different computers on the same lan
both came from different users with dynamic addresses issued by of the same ISP
